All this is well and good, but what the hell does that mean?

All classes are based on Vinyasa Flow Yoga (linking breath and movement, and shapes together, step by step with intention, hence the idea of ‘flow’ for a fluid practice) but also feature other movement practices such as Animal Flow®, mobility, martial arts,  and primal movement patterns. There is no general “level”, only your level of skills and abilities and energy, so options are offered that you are welcome to take – or not.

Disclaimer: all classes are trauma-informed, but because these are open group classes, there might still be triggers in the space. I offer hands-on assists, but never without consent, and you are always welcome to choose if you want them or not.

VINYASA : dynamic and creative style of yoga that links breath with movement. Poses are linked together in sequences and fluidity of movement and transitions make the practice organic and fluid. Classes combine the traditional way of sequencing (Vinyasa Krama) inherited from « the grandfather of modern yoga » Krishnamacharya with the principles of « Core Strength Vinyasa (CSV) Yoga » – CSV Yoga is based on a contemporary vision of human anatomy, taking into account the whole body in its entirety, and no longer a « body parts » vision -, and primal movement patterns. Those classes are breath-based, and focused on holistic organic alignment of the body, the creativity of transitions, mindful movement, and of course spirituality applied to our everyday life.

BUDOKON: a yoga style that will not only move your body but also your way of thinking, Budokon Yoga combines elements of Hatha Yoga, Mobility, Martial Arts, Calisthenics, Animal Locomotion, and Meditation. This practice is designed to improve your mobility, agility, flexibility, and strength, as well as challenge your beliefs.

ANIMAL FLOW® : ANIMAL FLOW® is ground based movement, made fun, challenging and effective. This system is designed to improve strength power, flexibility, mobility, and coordination for all levels of fitness enthusiasts and yogis alike. AF is one of the influences in my Vinyasa classes (can also be part of a private class / coaching)

TRAUMA CENTER, TRAUMA-SENSITIVE YOGA: only in private or clinical settings, small groups or individuals. CONTACT ME for enquiries.

See you on the mat 🙂
